Powdered Gentlemen, Office and GMAT

Pirates: Powdered European gents, pirates… these are the themes that are going through me right now. I am heavily playing Sid Meier’s Pirates! recently, along with Mass Effect. Pirates! is such a delightful game!  The graphics, the minigames, the overall strategy, it is great fun. What lives they had… but at the same time, these were tough times for them, of course. Bart Roberts is an interesting one, but so is the cruelty of L’Olonnais. And then there is Henry Morgan. No lives are inherently fun, as we might see in hindsight… consider the fate of Stede Bonnet. What makes it fun is when people do what they want to do, like to do, and become successful in it. When a group of people are having fun doing what they want to do, the resulting competition is also fun. Hence the pirate fun. They knew the danger, but they still went for it. Fought for it.

Office: Am supposed to finish the DPCs – Development Plan Confirmations. A pretty complex and abstract task, and is most efficient to do when you are working in bulk.

GMAT: Dunno what to do. Go for it? It seems like the ideal exam for me. But what bothers me is what to do after GMAT. It can be done for its sake… but can it, actually? I mean, I have so many other higher-preference tasks to do that bringing the GMAT in behind those would be a silly idea. I need to be more determined for this to work!
