Updates, 5 January 2009

On a book-reading spree lately. Read through Hamilton’s The Temporal Void, Banks’ Matter, Gladwell’s The Tipping Point and now Gladwell’s Blink. Gladwell has been especially fascinating, though the copy of The Tipping Point I downloaded had some OCR-ing errors which made reading pretty difficult.

I have also been doing some GMAT, focusing on Math, more specifically on Data Sufficiency. On the tougher ones, I have a 40% success rate, which sucks. I do feel that with practice I should be able to improve, and it actually is pretty fun. J

Office is full again, with Mazhar bhai and Noomaya back. A full office has a very different feeling. At one point of time I wanted a quieter workplace, but right now, I won’t go for it right away.

I am of a mind to write an article that inspects the inner workings of enjoying one’s work for the general entry level worker. This partially stems from my recent feeling (reinforced by Ishtiaq Rouf!) that I read too much and do not synthesize my many thoughts.

I also researched a bit on my frequent peeing habit. Methinks the most likely cause(s) might as well be psychological coupled with either a small or an overactive bladder. There are also some suggestions of Diabetes, but my health reports are a big No on the necessary statistics for that to happen. Anyway, I think I need to check with a General Practitioner, or better, an Urologist. Some also suggest that Acupuncture works well. Anyway, it is about time this problem gets a good hearing.
